Occoquan

The tiny town of Occoquan, VA is home to just over 1,000 residents and is situated on the Occoquan River just off I-95 and Rt. 123. Originally inhabited by American Indians, colonists arrived and settled in the area establishing grist mills and tobacco trade utilizing the river. Today the Occoquan historic district thrives with shops and artists displaying their goods. A town dock is available for residents to enjoy.
