Woodbridge

Woodbridge, Virginia is located just south of Fairfax, County and one of the first towns in Prince William County on I-95. Located just 20 miles South of Washington, DC, residents here enjoy easy access via I-95, two VRE train stations and a slugging system providing for HOV access. 1n 1985, Potomac Mills Mall was opened making it one of Northern Virginia’s largest shopping centers with shops, restaurants and a movie theatre. Dale City, one of the largest and oldest planned communities is Northern Virginia is located in Woodbridge with 22 ‘neighborhoods’ each ending with ‘dale’ such as Ashdale, Barksdale and Birchdale. Today, you can find other large planned communities such as Belmont Bay, Lake Ridge, Port Potomac, Potomac Club, River Oaks and Westridge. In 2022, the Washington Commanders announced plans to build a new stadium in the area.
