Greenbelt

Just minutes from College Park and home to roughly 25,000 residents, Greenbelt, MD is conveniently located just off the Capital Beltway at the Baltimore Washington Parkway interchange. Greenbelt is unique in that it was planned and developed by the Federal Government and would be later modeled after in the design and creation of two other area planned communities – Columbia, MD and Reston, VA. Though surrounded by town house communities, you will still notice at its core its art deco architecture as Greenbelt has been able to retain much of its original blueprint. Residents here enjoy super easy access to major arteries as well as Metrorail’s Greenbelt station. There is a large variety of home styles in the area with newer townhomes being offered at Greenbelt Station, a community that is walking distance to the local Metro station.
