Cheverly

Located inside the Capital Beltway, the town of Cheverly, MD is adjacent to Landover, MD off Rt. 202 (Landover Road). Residents here enjoy an easy commute to our Nation’s Capital via the Baltimore Washington Parkway or via Metrorail’s Orange Line with a station located in town. Most of the homes in the area are older brick single-family homes.
Clinton – Formerly known as Surrattsville up until the Civil War, Clinton, MD is located southeast of Washington DC, just outside the Capital Beltway along Rt. 5 (Branch Avenue). Clinton is home to roughly 40,000 residents, some of them working at nearby Joint Base Andrews which is located just moments away. Several new home communities can be found around Clinton including Woodburn Estates, the Vineyards and Surratts Crossing. Of historical interest: John Wilkes Booth, while trying to escape authorities after assassinating President Abraham Lincoln at Ford’s Theater in Washington DC, stopped by the Surrattsville tavern to pick up supplies. Clinton’s Surratt House Museum provides insight into the assassination.
