Sterling
A vibrant high-tech center and community situated within minutes of the runways of Dulles Airport, Sterling has converted its farming heritage into a place with all the conveniences of modern living. The unincorporated area’s initial prosperity was fueled by access of a railroad station in 1860. The former railway that served the station has since been transformed into a rails-to-trails bike path.
