Chevy Chase

Chevy Chase, Maryland like it’s neighbor Bethesda, offers residents an outstanding location to call home, located just outside of Washington, DC via Connecticut Ave. Chevy Chase is unlike anywhere else in the region. It is actually a conglomeration of villages that together form a self-governing municipality known simply as Chevy Chase. Chevy Chase has a small shopping area along Connecticut Avenue with a Starbucks and Einstein Brothers Bagels. Otherwise, residents head to nearby Friendship Heights or Bethesda for upscale grocery stores, shops and restaurants. Chevy Chase is also home to both Columbia Country Club and Chevy Chase Country Club. Although the homes in the region are not inexpensive, most are more traditional in nature and not of overwhelming size – befitting of a transitional region from inner city to suburbia. Known for its immaculately maintained sidewalks and local schools, Chevy Chase is an affluent enclave with high-end shopping and a wonderful history. But seeing that is located a mere five miles from the White House, residents know their access to all the advantages of the modern world is right at their disposal or nearby.
