Lovettsville

In terms of rural, tucked-away beauty, it’s tough to find anyplace quite like Lovettsville.  Located in northern Loudoun County, it has easy access into Leesburg and MD via Rt. 15.  Residents will love its quiet suburban feel but will need to travel to Purcellville or Leesburg to find more amenities such as grocery stores, restaurants and shopping.

The town saw tremendous construction growth during the early 2000’s but was also hit hard during the economic downturn in the late 2000’s with foreclosures and short sales.  Lovettsville residents get to enjoy a plethora of events throughout the year including the Annual Mayfest, called “Lovettsville’s All-American Picnic,” the Lovettsville Oktoberfest at the end of September, and the annual “Light Up Lovettsville” home and business decorating competition for Christmas.
