Suitland
The Suitland station on Washington, DC Metrorail’s Green Line opened in 2001 adding to the town of Suitland, MD’s already prime commuting location just over the city line along Rt. 4 (Pennsylvania Avenue) and Rt. 5 (Branch Avenue). Not only is it an easy drive for those commuting into DC but you also have Metro’s Branch Avenue Station on the Green Line to make for a more relaxing rush hour. Given the large footprint of Suitland, there is a wide variety of home styles and price ranges from which to choose. With styles ranging from townhomes to single-family homes, Suitland’s offerings also include two newer communities – the Village at Town Square and Town Center at Camp Springs. These clusters offer home owners luxury townhome living at an affordable price just a short walk to both Metro stations. There are plenty of great shops and restaurants in the area including the Silver Hill Plaza with Shoppers Food, Planet Fitness, CVS, Subway, TGI Fridays and Crafty Crab.
