Landover

For many years, Landover, MD was the home of US Airways Arena and the Washington Capitals and Washington Bullets before their move to downtown Washington, DC. Today, that land is now the Boulevard at the Capital Centre – a large commercial area offering residents plenty of shops, restaurants, an AMC Magic Johnson movie theatre and Metrorail access via the Largo Town Center station. The Washington Commander’s stadium, FedExField is just inside the Capital Beltway. With major arteries in the area along with two Metrorail stops at Landover and Morgan Blvd., the Landover area is a great place to call home. The majority of homes in Landover are also located inside the Beltway between Rt. 50 and Rt. 202 and range in style from townhomes to single family homes. Two newer planned communities are Metro Pointe and Summerfield at Morgan Station.
