Brunswick

With a population of more than 7,000 residents and three schools to access, the quaint city of Brunswick, MD is located just off Rt. 340 along the Potomac River in Southwestern Frederick County. Its location close to both Virginia and West Virginia gives residents numerous options to enjoy the nearby attractions such as Harpers Ferry. With its important train stop at its landmark Baltimore and Ohio railroad station located on the Maryland Rail Commuter Train (MARC) line, Brunswick provides easy access to those working in Washington, DC. The historic commercial district offers residents a few shopping and dining opportunities but those looking for larger fully stocked grocery stores usually head to Frederick or even Leesburg, VA. For many years, Brunswick was a quiet, sleepy town but has grown recently with the addition of new home communities such as Brunswick Crossing and Galyn Manor.
