Germantown

Germantown, Maryland is located just north of Gaithersburg along I-270 and Rt. 355. Given its location, Germantown offers residents a slightly further commute to the DC area but also offers residents a slightly newer home as Germantown’s growth and expansion is more recent. Centrally located is the Germantown Town Center with Safeway, Starbucks, Panera, Chipotle, Carrabba’s and Chick-Fil-A. There’s even a movie theatre and Top Golf for locals to enjoy. The Washington Spirit women’s professional soccer club calls the Maryland Soccer Plex home which also features a Spashdown water park, mini-golf, indoor swim center and tennis courts. The nearby Butler’s Orchard provides festivals and activities throughout the year for the family to enjoy. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy Seneca Creek State Park which features a lake with boating, fishing and hiking trails while South Germantown Recreational Park provides trails, picnic facilities and a wide range of other offerings. Similar to Gaithersburg, Germantown offers a wide variety of home styles from condos to single family homes in popular planned communities such as Brandermill, Gunners Lake Village and Wexford.
