Fort Washington

Bordering the Potomac River and named for the fort first designed to protect Washington, DC back in 1809, Fort Washington, MD is located just south of the Capital Beltway along Rt. 210 (Indian Head Highway). Many of the homes are just a stone’s throw from all the great shops and restaurants at National Harbor and the MGM Casino. Fort Washington is also home to Rosecroft Raceway for horse enthusiasts and the popular Fort Washington Park for outdoor enthusiasts. There are plenty of affordable housing options in the area due to the variety of homes from condos to townhomes to single family homes.
