A part of the Gateway Arts District (a web portal dedicated to promoting and teaching about arts-related activities), the small town of Brentwood, MD is located just outside Washington, DC along Rt. 1 in Prince Georges County. Many homes in Brentwood are from the World War II era having served as a quiet place for young people coming to the nation’s capital to raise their families. Consequently, a lot of the homes are older single-family homes with various styles from ramblers to cottages to bungalows but many have been renovated to appeal to the next generation of homebuyers. Brentwood is a great location just outside DC with two small service-oriented commercial areas.
