Brandywine

The rural area of Brandywine, MD is located at the southernmost part of Prince Georges County and is home to more than 10,000 residents. Commuters to the nation’s capital will have a longer drive on the 20-mile commute via Branch Avenue. There are a lot of parks around town but not as much in terms of shopping so residents will usually head north to Clinton, MD or south to Waldorf, MD for their grocery and dining needs. Along with many nice, newly renovated homes, Timothy Branch and Villages of Savannah are two of the larger and newer planned communities in the Brandywine area.
