Damascus

Damascus, Maryland is Montgomery County’s northernmost town. A small downtown area provides residents the essentials they need such as Safeway, Starbucks, Chipotle and Dunkin Donuts along with restaurants like Hornets Nest Grille, Maggi’s Pizza and Deli and Ledo Pizza. Other than that, residents here head to Clarksburg or Germantown for more offerings. Damascus is primarily a bedroom community of single family homes that provide residents larger acreage opportunities to spread their wings away from the hustle bustle of areas to the south. There are plentiful parks in the area for locals to enjoy including Damascus Recreational Park, Upper Magruder Branch Park and Lower Magruder Branch Park.
